About
New Life Transitional Program is a faith-based, comprehensive program for women committed to stable living.
New Life Transitional Program (NLTP) is designed to help hurting women restore hope, revive their faith and renew purpose. The program will help women transition to a healthy and independent lifestyle by helping them identify the top struggles that are preventing them from reaching their full God-given potential and outline a case plan that address those struggles.
The program is intended to help carry the burdens that others are shouldering on their own. Galatians 6:2 instructs; “Carry each other’s burdens and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Through the 12-month program, participants will meet with a team from NLTP including the Program Manager, mentors, counselors and other program participants who will all support the participant through this transitional time.
It is our hope that each participant will make a successful transition into independent living and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the New Life Transitional Program will be a life-changing experience for those who participate, and we hope that those who complete this program will positively impact their community.

Program Information
The New Life Transitional Program consist of three areas that work together to bring stability to the life of the participant and prepare them for independent living:
- Spirit– It is our hope that every individual will experience the love of Christ and come to an understanding of His desire for a personal relationship with them (John 15). Through Bible studies and spiritual discipleship participants in the program will learn how to connect with God through prayer, how to read the Bible, and the importance of fellowship with other Christians. Biblical truths will be the basis for all three areas of the program and will provide encouragement and support and the participant will learn to be able to discern what is the good and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
- Heart– God has gifted humans with dominion over their mind and thoughts (2 Corinthians 10:5). It is important to be disciplined about what our hearts and minds are filled with so what comes out is good in the eyes of the Lord. Through individual study with a mentor, group classes, individual counseling, group counseling and service work, individuals will learn how to position their heart toward the Lord, know their identity in Christ and the impact that the condition of their heart has on their relationships, marriage and parenting (James 1:26-27).
- Body and Mind– Our bodies and the resources that we have are given to us by God to steward well (Ephesians 2:10). Through the program clients will learn how to take care of their physical bodies including health and nutrition, financial stewardship, household management, professional skills and support in addiction recovery.
