Pray
You can help, first and foremost, by praying for our clients and their spiritual development. Pray specifically for strengthening families and relationships, job opportunities, protection and that clients would find their identity in Christ.
Clients of the New Life Transitional Program have many diverse needs. Often our program is their best hope for an opportunity to return to stable living. This is not only because we provide them with extensive training, mentoring and counseling, but also because we share the love of Christ with them. In Him, we know they can have a different life. Our prayer is that each client accepts Jesus as their Lord and begins a new story of redemption and victory.
Volunteers with various skills are needed to help in many different areas. Individuals and groups are welcome. Fill out the volunteer form below or call (520) 795-7541 and we can help you find the right opportunity. We would love to talk with you to see how God is leading you to get involved.

Gain real world experience, spiritual growth and exposure to ministry by interning with New Life Transitional Program. Students interested in social work and counseling are ideal, but all students are welcome. Internships can take place during the school semester or summer, or can be customized based on the needs of the student and the ministry. An internship may be paid or unpaid depending on ministry needs, school requirements or the intern's circumstances. If you are a student and would like more information, or would like to apply for an internship, please contact Dane Clark at (800) 678-0648 or me360@abcs.org. Please note that internship opportunities are not always available.
The purpose of a mentoring relationship with a client is to help them define their goals and aspirations and to provide encouragement and accountability. We encourage mentors to meet weekly for one hour with clients. Through these weekly interactions, the participant should experience the love of God via their mentor. Due to the sensitive nature of the program, mentors go through a screening process before being selected. Male mentors will be matched with male clients and female mentors will be matched with female clients.
Consider offering entry-level positions to clients, internships to help them learn new job skills or hosting practice interviews to help them sharpen their skills. CEO’s and other professionals are also welcomed to come and speak to the participants about their particular industry, or to share tips and words of encouragement.
